The Task

Simulating traffic at intersections with multiple vehicles.

The Challenge

To simulate crossing traffic at intersections and on complex road networks. Vehicles must traverse intersections with a specified behavior. To detect vehicles and objects on and beside the road.

The Solution

Complex road networks and traffic scenarios on them can be graphically defined with ModelDesk. Scenarios such as turning, crossing, turning oncoming traffic, and U-turns are supported. With ASM Traffic, these scenarios can be simulated in real time to test driver assistance systems such as intersection assistants.
