End-of-Life Information

An end-of-life date has been set for the dSPACE Simulator Mid-Size and dSPACE Simulator EcoLine product lines. The end-of-life date for the two product lines is December 31, 2024. As of this date, no services of any kind will be available for these products. 

You can still buy the related products up to and including December 31, 2021. New Releases of dSPACE software will still support the dSPACE Simulator Mid-Size and the dSPACE Simulator EcoLine until at least the end of 2023.

We advise against using the dSPACE Simulator Mid-Size and dSPACE Simulator EcoLine in new projects.

Successor

For new projects we recommend that you use SCALEXIO, the latest dSPACE technology for modular real-time systems.

It is available from small to large systems while providing very high processing power. It is entirely software-configurable, which lets you adapt to changing requirements flexibly and easily. The SCALEXIO-based real-time systems can be connected to your existing dSPACE systems (e.g., dSPACE Simulator Full-Size, dSPACE Simulator Mid-Size, and dSPACE Simulator EcoLine).

Migration from Real-Time Interface to ConfigurationDesk

When working with SCALEXIO, the real-time application is generated with ConfigurationDesk instead of Real-Time Interface (RTI). Via so-called model port blocks the Simulink model is linked to the I/O configuration in ConfigurationDesk.
