About this MATLAB Compatibility Update

The sole purpose of this update is to accomplish compatibility with MATLAB Release 14. It does not introduce nor support new features.

Compatibility with MATLAB R14 ServicePack 1

Question:

Can the MATLAB R14 Compatibility Update for TargetLink 2.0 be used with MATLAB R14SP1?

Answer:

The MATLAB R14 Compatibility Update (MLCU) for TargetLink 2.0 was not developed for nor tested with R14SP1.
However there is only one known problem when using the MLCU together with R14SP1: The Data Dictionary Manager and Property Manager tools pop up in the background and have to be activated by the user.
Regarding the installation: There is no mechanism that blocks the installation of the MLCU for MATLAB R14SP1. Only a warning message is issued.
Customers using the MLCU under R14SP1 will receive full support.
