Extremely compact and robust real-time systems for rapid control prototyping, tests, and data acquisition in tough environments such as in vehicles or airplanes. dSPACE’s compact in-vehicle systems provide a set of commonly used I/O and bus interfaces for various automotive applications and other applications in the field.

dSPACE’s compact in-vehicle system MicroAutoBox II is designed for the development, test, and data acquisition of control algorithms directly in the vehicle or in the field. MicroAutoBox II is available in several variants with different I/O interfaces, an optional programmable FPGA and an integrated Embedded PC and can be extended with RapidPro hardware for signal conditioning and power stages. dSPACE’s compact in-vehicle systems can be used for control prototyping tasks in numerous areas, such as:
